The robot, a joint venture of Presidential Deputy for Science and Technology office, became the center of attentions where automation and tech companies were beholding the scene with shock and admiration.
Mr. Aqil Yousefi Koma, the director of Surena-3 project and a member of College of Mechanical Engineering rejoiced to announce the news of the robot stealing the limelight in the event; “the robot turned the tide for the Islamic Republic of Iran, bringing opportunity for the country’s tech sector to find first-hand contacts with world giants and German universities; no less important is European common market which is a rich market for tech and achievements in the robotics would be dearly welcomed,’ he added.
Yousefi Koma, who is head of CAST project in the College, said that negotiations with international tech companies already had found queues where they would seek marketing in industrial level of the robot Surena-3; “the Entrepreneurial University – TUM in Munich is the first such center entering talks to exchange students and joint projects.”
Automatica is an avant-garde tech festival and exhibition held annually in Munich and provides the greatest tech and robotics market across the EU.
